Nvidia GeForce 8500GT BSOD Nvlddmkm.sys Error
» Any time I try to install video drivers, I get the same BSOD pointing to nvlddmkm.sys. I have tried all kinds of drivers from the default one provided with Win7. All give exactly the same fault. Including driver updates and elimination of older versions of the drivers have been suggested. My system has never had any problems running Windows XP.
Nvlddmkm.sys file is part of the Nvidia® graphic card's display driver, usually found under the following file path: C:\windows\system32\drivers. If found at this location, you can be sure that it is a legitimate file and not some kind of a Trojan.
Many Windows 7, Vista, and XP users whom are experiencing STOP errors (blue screen crashes) related to this file, complain that these crashes occur randomly, and in many cases right after either reinstalling Windows OS, while playing video games, or right after installing new graphic drivers. Always hoping to fix problems yourself, look around on the interwebz where many people suggested it was a problem with the newest Nvidia driver, so you played around with different versions and even down clocked the GPU as suggested by others - nothing's working. Since Safe Mode runs perfectly, this is neither a hardware issue nor a heat issue.
If you are still getting the BSOD, freeze screens /black screens, then another rather easy fix is to copy a good updated nvlddmkm.sys over, DLL Suite can be used well enough. DLL Suite is an advanced DLL files fixer designed to fix all the daily computer problems related to DLL files, EXE files and SYS files. DLL Suite allows you to download nvlddmkm.sys file and any other .sys files.
DLL Suite’s Fix BSOD menu gives you the chance to resolve BSOD smoothly by providing nvlddmkm.sys free download，it is an easy blue screen fix. Please just click on the arrowhead of Fix BSOD menu, it will display the name list of all the major .sys files for various causes of system crashes on the right side of the interface, look for the one which you need, and click the green arrow on its right side to download it.
